Dip in cold water - wring dry - cool down! The Hurtta Cooling Coat is an evaporative coat that's designed to make your dog more comfortable in hot weather and when exposed to the sun. Cools and gives your dog a feeling of comfort on hot days. The coat cools the dog's back and chest and helps make heat more tolerable for your dog. Ideal for summer training sessions for active dogs and outdoor dog shows. The coat has a detachable belly flap as well as an adjustable collar and belt making it easy to get the perfect fit. An opening on the back also allows for your leash to be fed through if using a harness.
Easy to use, simply rinse the coat thoroughly in cold water. Carefully wring dry until the coat no longer drips. The Hurtta cooling coat works through the cooling effect caused by the water evaporating. The duration of the cooling effect depends on air temperature, humidity, and the size of the dog. The coat's cooling effect diminishes as the lining dries.

1. The back length should be measured from the withers (not the collar) to the base of the tail, while the dog is standing in normal position.
2. The neckline measurement should be taken at the base of the neck, this being the widest point of the neck. The neckline of an overall can be larger than the circumference of the dog's neck, as it can be adjusted to fit a smaller neck.
3. The chest measurement should be taken at the widest point of the chest, from behind the front legs. To ensure sufficient freedom of movement, the chest of an overall should be 5–20 cm/2-8" wider than the dog's chest.
4. The front leg length should be measured from the bottom of the rib cage along the inner side of the leg to the wrist bone. The legs of an overall are of an appropriate length when they reach down to the dog's forearms.
